Then there was the "race"!!! The half marathon of Layton (13.1 miles)

Mike left me in the dust (by 8 minutes).

We both did great!! Mike placed 10th in his age group and believe it or not
I won first place in mine (of course there were only two of us and the other
guy ran with a crutch). We are both very sore!!! At least we didn't get suckered into the Bionic hologram electronic body balancer!

And even more!!!

More pics of this fantastic extravaganza!!!

Balloon Festival in Albuquerque

This was one of the first balloons to launch. At about 6:45 AM.

I always wanted to see this Fiesta, and now I have. It was all I ever thought it would be. It's one of those experiences that you just have to be there to fully enjoy. You can't capture it on camera.

Thanks Ari and Hayley for a great time.

Baptism day! Elder Lubrique and Cristobal.

Baptizees: Victoria Deo, Toto Deo, Caloy Danganan.

I baptized Caloy and the Elder baptized the children.

Brother Caloy is one of the many overseas workers, who only get to visit family once a year for a month (sometimes once in two years), but now his contract is for two months and one month home. How does the song go? Count your many blessings!!
